Ronald E. Schnecker, age 87, of Brookville, Indiana died early Saturday, February 14, 2026 at his residence in Springfield Township, Franklin County, Indiana.
Born September 19, 1938 in Cincinnati, Ohio he was the son of the late Erwin Otto & Hilda Catherine (Voegeli) Schnecker.
Ron was a farmer and mechanic; and had farmed in Franklin County for many years. He was a member of the Springfield Community Church, Barn Brothers and the Country Barrel Luncheon Crew.
In his younger days he enjoyed hunting and fishing, raising livestock on the farm and working on vehicles and farm machinery. He was fondly known as ‘Mr. Fixit’.
He is survived by his daughter, Susan (Scott) Kuehn, grandson, Steven (Mollie) Kuehn and great grandson, Benjamin Kuehn, his granddaughter, Stephanie Kuehn, and his son Jon Schnecker, grandson Jacob (Lexie) Schnecker, great grandsons Zander and Lincoln and great-granddaughter, Lennox. He will be missed by many friends and neighbors in the community.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Hollie Schnecker, and sister Carolyn Broft.
Family & friends may visit from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Springfield Community Church, 3101 Oxford Pike, Bath, Indiana 47010.
Nick Stringer will officiate the Funeral Service at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Springfield Community Church. Burial will follow in Springfield Cemetery in Bath.
