Betty Marie Wilson, age 92, of Metamora, Indiana died Friday, February 13, 2026 at University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Born April 8, 1933 in Metamora, Indiana she was the daughter of the late George & Ethel (Abrams) Roberts. On December 24, 1947 she was united in marriage to Albert ‘Buck’ Wilson, and he preceded her in death on November 9, 2004.
Betty was a homemaker, and a member of the Laurel Pentecostal Holiness Church in Laurel. In her leisure time she enjoyed her flowers, taking care of her family, and going to church.
Those surviving who will honor her memory include five children, Glen (Karen) Wilson of Tucson, Arizona, Wanda Lowery of Metamora, Indiana, Tom (Cisy) Wilson of Metamora, Indiana, Karlene (Bill) Gray of Connersville, Indiana, Jeff Wilson of Metamora, Indiana; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; as well as many nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Buck, she was preceded in death by 10 siblings, Fletch Roberts, Mitch Potter, Ollie Hunter, Dorothy Harsh, Ann Precht, Dixie Miller, Paul Roberts, Donnie Roberts, Dave Roberts, Alvin Roberts; a son-in-law, David Lowery, grandson, Brian Roberts.
Family & friends may visit from 4 till 7 P.M. on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Laurel Pentecostal Holiness Church, 167 Charles Street, Laurel, Indiana.
Rev. Glen Goins will officiate the Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Laurel Pentecostal Holiness Church, burial will then follow in Cupps Chapel Cemetery in Metamora, Indiana.
