(Batesville, IN) – The City of Batesville says installation of the railing along the retaining wall on Walnut Street adjacent to Hillcrest Golf and Country Club is planned for next week.
Construction workers will be on site Monday and Tuesday, February 16 and 17, and possibly Wednesday, February 18.
It’s part of the city’s bike and pedestrian trail expansion project along Walnut Street/State Road 229, which is slated to be finished by the summer of 2027.
Crews will temporarily flag traffic while the work is in progress to ensure the safety of workers and motorists.
You’re urged to allow for extra travel time or consider using an alternate route.
