(Decatur County, IN) – It was an accident.
That’s the word from the Decatur County Emergency Management Agency after tornado sirens accidentally activated on Wednesday. EMA Director Michael Snyder says the sirens went off while they were doing maintenance.
Snyder issued a written statement.
“This was not supposed to happen, and we sincerely apologize for this and are working to fix the technical issue so there is no accidental trip in the future,” Snyder said.
