(Batesville, IN) – Tomorrow (Saturday) is the first of four heavy trash collection days this year for Rumpke customers in the Batesville city limits.
Rumpke begins pickup at 5 a.m. They’ll collect up to 10 large items, which are materials too large to fit in a garbage can or weigh more than 75 pounds.
Residents are advised to put out their items tonight to ensure materials will be picked up.

TVs, computers and monitors, microwaves, and all other electronics may be dropped off for a fee at the Batesville Area Recycle Center, located at 616 John Street. Operating hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 1-6 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m. until 12 p.m.
This year’s remaining heavy trash pickup are May 2, August 1 and November 7.
