(Lawrenceburg, IN) – The Batesville boys 9th grade basketball team won the EIAC Freshman Tournament for the third straight year with wins on Saturday over Connersville and East Central.
The Bulldogs downed the Spartans in the morning semifinal 49-15.
Evan Ibold led the charge with 12 points, followed by Cam Anderson and Beckett Jones with nine points each.
Batesville rallied in the Noon championship game to knock off the Trojans 37-27.
Jones led the Bulldogs with 11 points, followed by Anderson with seven.
