Sharon Sue Davies, 83

Sharon Sue Davies, 83, of Greensburg, Indiana, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and quiet strength. She was born in Dearborn County, Indiana, the daughter of Edward Emmert Ryle and Dorothy Mae (VanSickle) Ryle. Sharon spent her early years attending school in Versailles for eleven years before continuing her education at Milan High School, where she proudly earned her diploma in 1960. Sharon devoted much of her working life to serving others. She was employed for 21 years as a receptionist at KB Foods, where she was known for her reliability and warm demeanor. After retiring in 1997, she continued working, later serving at Rush Memorial Hospital, a role that reflected her strong work ethic and caring nature.
Above all else, Sharon was a dedicated and loving mother, a role she cherished deeply. In her quieter moments, she found joy and creativity in quilting, sewing, and embroidering, crafts that reflected her patience, skill, and thoughtful spirit. Sharon was a faithful member of the Moscow Christian Church in Moscow, Indiana, where she found community and strength in her faith. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her gentle kindness, and the many ways she served those around her. Sharon Sue Davies will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Sharon is survived by her daughters, Belinda (Randy) Cloud, Bonnie (Thomas) Leathers, Sheena (David) Oliver; sons, John Jr (Lisa) Davies, Brett Davies; grandchildren, Amanda Cloud, Cassandra Gibson, Brittany Hopwood, Ashley Auten, Jessica Davies, Dakotta Davies, Charles Fojtik, Alyssa Kocsinski; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Kocsinski, Gerald Kocsinski, Greysen Hopwood, Hayleigh Hopwood, Calvin Robbins, Jensyn Gibson, Lilliana Coffey, Charlie Fojtik, Presley Fojtik, Gage Fojtik, and Emryn Fojtik; sisters, Sharlene (Kenneth) Barlow, and Pamela (Mark) Ginder. She was preceded by her parents; sisters, Nancy Clayton, Marilyn Johnston, Linda Ryle; and brother, Lucian “Sonny” Ryle.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Thursday, February, 2026 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. The funeral will be held on Friday, February 7, 2026 at 11:00 am at Moscow Christian Church. Pastor Bruce Pierce will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Moscow Cemetery.
