(Greensburg, IN) – With cold weather on tap, the Decatur County Health Department is partnering again this weekend with the Washington Township Trustee and Decatur County Emergency Management to open the warming center at 315 S. Ireland Street in Greensburg.
If you, or someone you know, needs a warm place to sleep and/or food to eat, the center will be open from 6 p.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
They aren’t asking for warm food donations at this time, but are in need of volunteers to help staff four-hour overnight shifts: 6-10 p.m.; 10 p.m.-2 a.m.; 2 a.m.-6 a.m., and 6-10 p.m.
