(Columbus, IN) – River Valley Legal Aid will hold a free phone-in legal clinic for low-income residents of Decatur County and seven others in its service area on Monday in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
The district also includes Bartholomew, Brown, Jackson, Jennings, Johnson, Rush, and Shelby counties.
Those who take part will have a brief consultation with a volunteer attorney to answer general questions, to offer legal information or to receive other advice over the phone.
Criminal law questions will not be answered.
The phone clinic will be from 3 to 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
