Greensburg junior Claire Larrison is the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) District 3 Girls Basketball Player of Week.

Larrison posted two double-doubles , averaging 24.0 points, 9.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists over five games for the Class 3A #3 Pirates, who are 12-5 on the year.

The 5-11 wing totaled 15 points, 11 rebounds, four assists one steal and two blocks in a 57-38 victory over Class 4A #13 Westfield in the first round of the Northridge Invitational.

She followed with 25 points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks in a 64-58 loss to Northridge.

Larrison bounced back with 28 points, 14 rebounds, three assists, one steal and two blocks while passing the 1,000-point milestone in a 65-56 decision over Class 1A #2 Marquette Catholic.

She netted 24 points, nine rebounds, two assists one steal and two blocks in an 84-44 title-game setback to Class 4A #6 Homestead.

Then, in a Saturday regular-season game, Larrison tallied 28 points, seven rebounds, two assists, two steals and four blocks as the Pirates outlasted Class 3A #7 Jennings County 49-36.

For the five games, Larrison was 43-of-88 from the field, 12-for-28 from beyond the arc, and 22-of-26 from the line.

She finished the week with an overall total of 1,057 points, putting her in eighth place on her school’s career scoring list.

Larrison could climb to as high as #4 on the school list during the 2025-26 season.

She has a good chance of surpassing the school record of 1,729 points set by 2001 graduate Sara Riedeman in the 2026-27 season.
