Judith Ann “Judy” (Cutter) Luke, 84, of Dillsboro passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at The Waters of Dillsboro. Judy was born on Monday, March 10, 1941, in Hamilton, Ohio; daughter of Norman and Dorothy (Andrews) Cutter. She married Ralph Luke on April 29, 1961, and he survives her. Judy worked for the Town of Dillsboro as a Utilities Billing Clerk for many years. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Farmers Retreat and was a church organist for many years. She was also a chairman for the board of education for St. John Lutheran Church Preschool. Judy enjoyed gardening, reading, and doing crossword puzzles. She loved music and played the piano as well as the organ.
Judy will be missed by her husband Ralph Luke of Dillsboro; son Chris Todd (Anne) Luke of Fishers; daughter Jennifer (Scott) Hildebrand of Lawrenceburg; sisters-in-law Bobbie Luke of Dillsboro, Peggy Cutter of Florida, and Annis Luke of Dillsboro; and grandchildren Nicholas, Julia, and Marcus Luke and Allison, Jonathan, and Matthew Hildebrand.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents Norman and Dorothy Cutter; daughter Karen Sutton; son-in-law David Sutton; brother William “Bill” Cutter; brothers-in-law Paul, Art, and Richard Luke; and sisters-in-law Verna Kersey and Elsie Luke.
Family and friends may gather in remembering Judy from 11 AM- 1 PM, Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at St. John Lutheran Church in Farmers Retreat: 7291 IN-62, Dillsboro, IN 47018. Services will follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. Jared Tucher officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be given in honor of Judy to St. John Lutheran Cemetery Fund.
