Ruth Ann Schrand, 50, of Sunman, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025, in Batesville. She was born on July 21, 1975, in Dearborn County, Indiana.
She worked at B&G in Sunman, where she was proud of her work and the relationships she built. Ruth had a deep love for cooking and was known for the care she put into every meal she prepared. She enjoyed going out, fishing, and spending time outdoors, where she found peace and happiness.
She is survived by her husband, David Schrand; her mother, Karen Reed; and her brother, Harold Reed.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
