Batesville Sets 2026 Meetings

(Batesville, IN) – The City of Batesville has released its official meeting schedule for city boards and commissions for 2026, outlining when residents can attend or watch public meetings throughout the year.

City officials said the schedule is published in accordance with Indiana’s Open Door Law, which requires governing bodies to provide advance notice of meeting dates and times. Most meetings will be held at the Batesville Memorial Building unless otherwise noted, with livestreams available on the city’s YouTube channel, Batesville Indiana Live.

The Advisory Plan Commission and the Board of Zoning Appeals are scheduled to meet on the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. The Board of Public Works and Safety will meet on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m., followed immediately by the Batesville Common Council.

The Economic Development Commission is scheduled to meet on the third Friday of each month at 8 a.m., while the Redevelopment Commission will meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 4 p.m. The Technical Advisory Committee to the Plan Commission is set to meet on the fourth Thursday of each month at 9 a.m.

The Batesville Utilities Service Board will meet on the last Thursday of each month at noon in the conference room at 7 North Eastern Avenue.

The Board of Parks and Recreation will meet quarterly, on the third Wednesday of February, May, August, and November at 6:30 p.m. Meetings of the Industrial Park Commission will be scheduled on a month-to-month basis.
