Robin Bruce “Rob” Holland, 66, of Aurora passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025, at his home. Rob was born on Saturday, September 5, 1959, in Bad Tolz, Germany; son of John and Anne (Lane) Holland. He served in the United States Air Force. Rob worked as an airplane mechanic at CVG. He enjoyed doing mechanical work, working with his hands, and going on motorcycle rides. He was known to be a creative person as well as an artist. Rob loved listening to bluegrass music and was also known to be a “Dead Head,” and loved listening to the Grateful Dead.
Rob will be missed by his significant other Denese Denman of Aurora; son Benjamin Holland; daughter Jessica Holland; brothers Patrick (Charlene) Holland of Moores Hill, Steve (Lisa) Holland of Jacksonville, FL, Chris (Cindy) Holland of Louisville, and Eric Holland of Moores Hill; and his brother John Holland’s life companion Cathy Stiles of Clarksville.
Rob was preceded in death by his parents John and Anne Holland; sister Megan Holland; and brother John Holland.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date. Memorials may be given in honor of Rob to American Cancer Society.
