ECHL/Players Strike Deal

The ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association have agreed on a tentative new collective bargaining agreement, bringing an end to a two-day strike that postponed three games for the Indy Fuel.

The work stoppage included Sunday afternoon’s game against the Toledo Walleye at the Fishers Event Center.

The deal was announced Saturday night but still requires approval from the league’s board of governors and the full player membership before it can take effect.
