Bill Dyer, Jr., 45, of Greensburg, passed away on December 21, 2025. He was born on September 14, 1980, the son of William Ray Dyer, Sr. and Diana Collins.
Bill was a 1998 graduate of Greensburg High School. He worked as an Operations Manager at Avenues Recovery Center in Castleton, where he found true purpose and passion in helping others. His dedication to recovery work and volunteer spirit reflected his generous heart and desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
On May 29, 2010, Bill married Amber Buck. He was extremely family-oriented and took great pride in being a husband, father, and grandfather. His love for his grandchildren was immeasurable—they were his joy, his pride, and his greatest happiness. He cherished every moment spent with them and spoke of them often with unmistakable love and admiration.
Bill enjoyed playing his guitar and singing, watching his son Ki play basketball, cheering on his son Jaden as he rode dirt bikes, he shared a birthday with his son Mason, and he was so happy to watch his daughter Kaitlyn become a mother. Family time meant everything to him.
He was known for being funny, outgoing, strong-willed, thoughtful, and kind. His sense of humor was unforgettable—quick-witted, confident, and always ready with a comeback. Bill never denied that he was handsome, and his charm and laughter filled every room he entered. Those who knew him will forever remember his warmth, generosity, and ability to make others feel seen and valued.
