The Purdue Boilermakers remain at #6 in this week’s AP Top 25 College Basketball Poll. Arizona continues to hold down the top spot, followed by #2 Michigan. Duke, Iowa State and UConn round out the top five.
UC quarterback Brendan Sorsby will not play in the Liberty Bowl on December 27 against Navy after declaring on social media that he plans to enter the transfer portal. Sorsby played his first two years of college football at Indiana but transferred to UC after Tom Allen was fired as IU head coach.
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson has been cleared to return to physical activity, but there has been no determination made as to when he will return to practice. Richardson is on injured reserve with a fractured orbital bone. Head Coach Shane Steichen says Phillip Rivers will start next Monday at home game against the San Francisco 49ers.
