ND’s Bohman to be Inducted into IN Basketball Hall of Fame

Roxanne Bohman, North Decatur Class of 1993, is one of 12 women inductees into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame.

Bohman is among several former Indiana All-Stars in the 2026 induction class, which includes 1999 Miss Indiana Basketball April (McDivitt) Schilling of Connersville.

At North Decatur, Bohman averaged 18.0 points, 9.4 rebounds, 6.2 blocks and was a 1993 Indiana All-Star and AP third-team All-State after leading the Chargers to an 18-4 record and the program’s first sectional title as a senior. That came after she tallied 19.3 points and 9.0 rebounds for a 17-3 team as a junior and 16.2 points and 11.6 rebounds for a 13-7 squad as a sophomore.

The 6-foot-1 forward totaled 1,263 points, 820 rebounds and 432 blocks while keying North Decatur to a 56-25 record in 81 career games while playing for coach Dennis Crowe.

Bohman went on play four seasons at Notre Dame for coach Muffet McGraw, notching 9.8 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists while shooting .562 from the field as a senior starter when the Irish went 31-7 and reached the NCAA women’s Final Four for the first time. Bohman earlier had averaged 2.1 points and 1.9 rebounds as a freshman, 4.0 points and 3.1 rebounds as a sophomore and 5.8 points and 2.6 rebounds as a junior.

Overall, Bohman totaled 708 points and 426 rebounds in 120 career games for Notre Dame teams that went 97-32 overall and played in three NCAA Tournaments and one Women’s NIT. A highlight came when Bohman scored 16 points (on 8-of-8 shooting) with five rebounds at Texas in the 1997 NCAA Tournament.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Notre Dame in 1997.

She has worked as a production manager for Lloyds of Indiana in Indianapolis since 2006 and was named to the 2018 Silver Anniversary Team.

Bohman has two sons, Christian and Brogan

The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame’s 24th women’s induction class will be honored in ceremonies on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
