Deborah Kay Peters Jackson was born November 27, 1969, to Esther Martin Peters and Gerald “Bill” Peters. On May 16, 1997, she was united in marriage to Randy Jackson. On April 17, 2005, they were blessed with the arrival of Travis and Trevor.
Her first priority was always her family that she loved dearly. She enjoyed nature and took pride in creating their beautiful farm in Dillsboro. She was extremely talented in growing beautiful flowers both indoors and out.
Debby spent all her life taking care of people. She spent over 35 years working with the elderly and those with disabilities as a nursing assistant.
She will be deeply missed by her husband Randy and son Trevor and his partner Hanna Morehead. Her sister Barb (Eric) Dinwiddie, brothers Art, and Cliff (Karen) Jackson. Her brothers-in-law Ronald (Jerri) Jackson, Jimmy (Tina) Jackson and her nephews Justin (Angela) Peters, Michael (Madison) Howe, Matthew (Emily) Howe, Derek, Luke and nieces Shelby, and Michaela. As well as her beloved dogs Sara and Leo.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Esther Peters and her infant son Travis.
Family and friends may gather in remembering Deborah from 5:00-7:00 PM, Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home in Dillsboro. Services will follow at 7:00 PM. Memorials may be given in honor of Deborah to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
