No One Injured in Oldenburg Area House Fire

(Oldenburg, IN) – We have an update to a story we told you about earlier.

Crews from several area departments battled a house fire on the 24,000 block of Pocket Road Tuesday evening.

The fire was contained to the basement but the main floor sustained major smoke damage.

No one was hurt.

There’s no word on a cause or damage estimate.

The Oldenburg Fire Department received assistance from Batesville Fire and Rescue and the New Point Volunteer Fire Department.

Huntersville Road was closed between Pocket and Vote roads for nearly two hours while firefighters dealt with the flames.
