Clifford Paul Joseph Nobbe, 82, of Greensburg, passed away on November 24, 2025. He was born on February 14, 1943, in Brookville, Indiana, the son of Aloys and Eva Schebler Nobbe.
Throughout his career, Clifford held many positions at Delta Faucet to eventually become Superintendent, demonstrating his extreme dedication and work ethic. He traveled the world early in his career and later enjoyed taking frequent vacations to Orlando and Gatlinburg. He was also known for his talent in remodeling houses, MacGyvering his way through any problem. He was a talented woodworker and enjoyed working with his hands. Clifford could often be found drinking coffee with the local guys over the years, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and camaraderie.
Clifford married Carol Black on November 11, 1995, and together they had a beautiful blended and loving family, that he was so proud of.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Nobbe; children, Jenny Schebler, Julie Bischoff (Dave), Gina Morrell (Jon), Brian Nobbe (Holly), Brad Spurgin (Jennifer) and Lisa Bryant; grandchildren, TJ Schebler, Craig (Amanda) Schebler, Connor Bischoff, Blake (Alexa) Bischoff, Grant Bischoff, Cole Bischoff, Logan Morrell, Jordan Morrell, Maggie (Sam) Nobbe-Knecht, Jack Nobbe, Will Nobbe, Brittany Jones, Emily Spurgin, Samantha Drake, Noah Spurgin, Branson Spurgin, Aidan Bryant, Andrew Bryant and Aleck Bryant; great grandchildren, Lyla Schebler, Matthew Schebler, Isaac Schebler, Ellie Bischoff, Brewster Bischoff, Audra Bischoff, Leelah Bate, William Bate and Jackson Bate; siblings, Leona Martin, Leonard Nobbe, and Greg Nobbe. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Bertha Black and brothers-in-law, Donald Black (Diane) and Kenny Black.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Aloy and Eva Nobbe; siblings, Urban Nobbe, Roselyn Volz, Butch Nobbe, Virginia Smith, Bernice Burkhart, Sylvia Rosenberger, and Marilyn Poe; father-in-law, Bob Black and sister-in-law, Donna Marsters.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home, on Monday, December 1, 2025, from 12:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 pm. Memorial contributions can be made to the Decatur County Community Foundation. Clifford will be laid to rest at a later date at South Park Cemetery, 405 S. East Street, Greensburg, Indiana.
