Scott Loren Land, 51

Scott Loren Land, 51, of Greensburg, passed away on November 19, 2025. Born July 8, 1974, in Rushville, Indiana, he was the son of Thomas and Kathleen Meier Land.
Scott was a 1993 graduate of North Decatur High School, where he made lifelong friends and created memories that remained close to his heart. He carried a deep love for farming and fishing, finding joy in the rhythm of the seasons, the quiet of the outdoors, and the work of his hands. Growing up on his family’s dairy farm, he learned early the meaning of devotion, patience, and hard work. Planting and harvesting were more than tasks to him—they were part of who he was, grounding him in a life he cherished and never outgrew.
Scott later built a dedicated career at One Solution Logistics, where he was known for his strong work ethic and unwavering reliability.
Those who knew Scott will remember his gentle spirit, steady presence, and profound love for his family. His strength was evident in how he lived, but his heart was tender—a quiet, gentle giant who carried kindness wherever he went. He had a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews and cherished the times he was able to get together with his cousins. Whether sharing a laugh, lending a helping hand, or offering a warm smile, Scott had a way of making others feel cared for and at ease. He will be forever and deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Scott is survived by his mother, Kathleen Land; brother, Brian (Kelly) Land; sister, Jennifer Devlin; and nieces and nephews, Hailey Loneman, Matthew Creech, Collin Creech, Drucilla Cox, and Cooper Land, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Wayne Land; brother in law, Roy Devlin and nephew, Kameron Cox.
