(Franklin County, IN) – There were no injuries reported after a debris pile caught fire around 10:54 Friday night on the 7100 block of St. Peters Road in Franklin County.
The fire was quickly contained by Cedar Grove and New Trenton firefighters, but plumes of smoke could be seen a quarter mile away.
Crews were able to prevent the fire from spreading to the house and barns on the property, but around 100 bales of hay and a wooden gazebo were lost to the flames.
Also responding was Letts EMS.
