(Batesville, IN) – Concrete approach work is set to begin tomorrow (Tuesday, November 11) on the south side of the intersection of Walnut and Catherine streets in Batesville.
It’s part of a Community Crossings Matching Grant the city received.
The south side of the intersection will be shut down to traffic, and the closure is expected to remain in place until Friday, November 15, weather permitting.
The aim of the project is to help resolve water issues in the southeast corner of the intersection.
Drivers are advised to use alternate routes while the work is going on.
