Shirley Jo (Ison) Yeary, 62, of Falmouth, Kentucky, passed away Monday, November 3, 2025. Shirley was born on Tuesday, February 12, 1963, in Dearborn County; daughter to Irvin and Joan (Ison) Ison. Shirley married the love of her life, Charles “Charlie” Yeary, on November 19, 1994, and he survives her. Shirley worked as a receiving clerk at Pratt Industries in Hebron, Kentucky. She enjoyed camping, canning, gardening, and watching TV shows. She also had a passion for sewing and taking care of her flowers. Most of all Shirley loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Shirley will be missed by her husband Charlie Yeary of Falmouth, KY; daughters Amy Bryant of Petersburg, KY, Beth (Justin) Dalton of Burlington, KY, and Katie (Lindsey) Tipton of Falmouth, KY; brothers Paul (Lana) Ison of Moores Hill and Eugene (Susan) Ison of Sunman; sister Pam (Trace) Cutter of Moores Hill; grandchildren Linkin Bryant, Corbin Dalton, and Caysin Dalton; many nieces and nephews; and several cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Irvin and Joan Ison and sister Sheila Ann Ison.
Family and friends may gather in remembering Shirley from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM, Friday, November 7, 2025, at Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home in Moores Hill. Services will follow at 12:00 PM with Pastor Harris Long and Pastor Dave Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the family (Beth Dalton) to help defray expenses for a headstone.
