(Evansville, IN) – Former Greensburg Police Officer Sam Taylor is on the mend and in good spirits.
That’s the word from Evansville FOP Lodge #73.
Taylor is now an Evansville Police Officer and was shot by a suspect in the line of duty on September 21.
His brother Josh told 14 News in Evansville he wants people to see Sam as a person and not just a name.
Officer Taylor was moved to another hospital for rehab on September 26 and said he’ll be back home soon.
He served with the Greensburg Police Department from 2023 until last year.
