(Ripley County, IN) – Daniel Raftery has been elected Vice Chairman of the Ripley County Democratic Party.
Raftery is a Batesville resident, and joins the party’s leadership team following the recent election of Victoria Martz as chairwoman.
“I am extremely grateful to the Ripley County Democrats for electing me as the new Vice Chair. I especially have a great respect for our older local Democrats, who on top of being extremely knowledgeable, have also welcomed me with open arms,” Raftery said. “Community-building and outreach are my primary goals, and our party’s momentum is growing as a direct result. We’re really doing exciting things and I encourage anyone who is interested to come to our meetings and local events.”
