The Oklahoma City Thunder outlasted the Indiana Pacers 141-135 in double overtime in NBA action heard last night on the Sports Voice. Bennedict Mathurin and Paskal Siakam each recorded a double-double in a losing effort for Indiana. Mathurin scored 36 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Siakim had 32 and 15. Reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander went off for a game-high 55 points for the defending NBA champs. The Pacers are back in action tomorrow night at Memphis. Broadcast time on WRBI is 7:30.

In other first round sectional games tonight involving area teams, Greensburg is at Purdue Englewood; South Decatur journeys to Eastern Greene; North Decatur entertains Greenwood Christian Academy; and Rushville travels to South Dearborn. East Central, Milan and Lawrenceburg have first round byes.
Former Bengals Ken Anderson, Isaac Curtis, and Lemar Parrish are among 34 Seniors candidates for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2026. Also up for consideration is former Baltimore Colts defensive back Bobby Boyd. The next cutdown in the process will pare the list to nine semifinalists. That list is expected to be announced in four weeks.
