(Batesville/St. Leon, IN) – The Batesville and East Central High School Marching Bands advanced to the ISSMA Scholastic State Finals following their performances at the Scholastic Class Prelims at Whiteland High School on Saturday, October 11.
They are among 32 bands selected to participate at the state finals on October 25 at Franklin Central High School in Indianapolis.
Each band is entered in either the Scholastic A or B categories based on size and school enrollment.
East Central will compete in the Scholastic A category.
Batesville will perform at the state finals for the second consecutive year.
Scholastic B performances will begin at 12 p.m., with the Scholastic A performances starting at 5:12 p.m.
Admission to the Scholastic Finals event is $10.00 for adults and $7.00 for students and preschoolers.
The Scholastic Class A and B Champions will be invited to perform in as part of an exhibition at the 52nd Indiana State Marching Band Finals on Saturday, November 8 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
