No Kings Protests Planned for Saturday

(Southeastern IN) – A series of “No Kings” protests are set to take place this Saturday in Franklin, Ripley and Decatur counties.

It’s part of the nationwide No Kings movement in response to Trump Administration and ICE actions and is sponsored by RISE (Rights, Inclusion, Solidarity, Education) for Justice.

Protests will be held from 10 a.m. to Noon at the Franklin County Courthouse in Brookville; Noon to 12:30 at the Ripley County Courthouse in Versailles, and Noon to 2 p.m. at the Decatur County Courthouse in Greensburg.

Organizers say, as part of the protests, there will also be a motorcade that will wind its way through several communities, including Oldenburg, Napoleon and Osgood.
