She worked for US Shoe in Osgood and retired from GECOM in Greensburg where she worked in assembly. Linda was a “people person”, loved everyone and never met a stranger. She loved to sing for the Lord and next to God, family was everything in her life. Linda said that she was going to hand out as many roses as she could before she died. If you knew her, she most likely had given you a rose. Her “roses” were compliments… she let you know how pretty or handsome you are or how she liked whatever it may have been. She was always giving compliments. She saw the good in everyone! Linda was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Hopewell with Rev. Luke Koors officiating. Burial will be in the Greendale Cemetery at Osgood. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles and from 9:30 to time of services Friday at the church. Memorials may be given to the Hopewell Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
