Lloyd “Wayne” Mosley, 73, of Rising Sun passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital Edgewood. Wayne was son to Lloyd and Wanda Mosley. Wayne is survived by his wife, Tina Marie Mosley (Shelton) and his daughter, Elizabeth (Jarrett) Maddox as well as his 3 brothers Pastor Rick (Judy) Mosley, Larry (Theresa) Mosley, and Mark Mosley.
Wayne graduated from Glen Este High School in Ohio. For 29 years, Wayne loved working on the B&O Railroad Queensgate Yards as a conductor/ brakeman in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was local chairman for his Local 1917 for 20+ years and retired from the railroad in 2001. He was a Master Mason at the Rising Sun lodge where he was a member for 40+ years. Wayne was also nominated as a Kentucky Colonel. Wayne married the love of his life, Tina, on February 13, 1980. They had one beautiful baby girl, Elizabeth.
Wayne had many passions that he dearly loved throughout his life. He loved working in the garden, doing hay, and riding his John Deere tractor. He also raised many black angus cows as well as mules/donkeys, and horses over the years. Wayne dearly loved the Lord.
There were many aspects of Wayne’s life that are too numerous to mention, but Wayne lived a wonderful and fulfilling life.
Wayne will be greatly missed by his wife, Tina and daughter, Elizabeth.
In accordance with Wayne’s wishes, there will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be planned for a date to be determined. Memorials may be given in honor of Wayne to the Rising Sun Life Squad.
