(Aurora, IN) – The 2025 Aurora Farmers Fair began with the crowning of royalty on Wednesday night.
Oldenburg Academy senior Adam Dennis was named runner-up in the King contest while Nevaeh Carpenter from Milan High School was chosen Queen runner-up.
The King and Queen are both Switzerland County High School students.
This year’s King is Austin Johns; Lainie McAlister was selected as Queen.
Johns and McAlister were each awarded a $1,000 Ivy Tech Community College scholarship.
The Aurora Farmers Fair runs through Saturday.
