(Friendship, IN) – One person was hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in the area of the 2,000 block of East State Road 62 in Friendship.
Crews were called around 1:05 p.m. on a report of a westbound van that left the road and came to rest in a creek bed.
The lone occupant was able to get out of the vehicle but could not make it up the creek bank because of their injuries.
The unidentified driver was treated at the scene and taken to an area hospital for further treatment.
The accident remains under investigation.
The Friendship Volunteer Fire Department and Ripley County EMS responded to the scene.
