Norman Dale “Norm” Hillman, 94, of Milan passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025, at his home with his loving family by his side. Norm was born on Wednesday, August 12, 1931, in Sunman; son of George Sr. and Edna (Voorhees) Hillman. Norm served in the United States Air Force during Korean Wartime and was stationed in Newfoundland, Canada; and was a member of the Sunman American Legion Post #337. He worked for 14 years as an electrical engineer for Western Electric and was a school bus driver, owned and operated a TV shop and worked on his farm. He married the love of his life, Christeen (Lack) Hillman, on June 27, 1958, and she survives him. He enjoyed playing softball, bowling, square dancing and spending time with his family.
Norm will be missed by his wife Christeen “Chris” Hillman of Milan; son Tim (Anna) Hillman of Milan; Teena (Dan) Bischoff of Milan; sister-in-law: Jessie Horn; grandchildren: Apryl Hillman and Shyla Hamon and step-grandson Chase Roberts. 4-Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Norm was preceded in death by his parents George Sr. and Edna Hillman; brothers: Howard, Tom, George Jr. Hillman and infant twin brother John Hillman; and sister Vivian Burcham.

Family and friends may gather in remembering Norm from 1:00-3:00 PM, Wednesday October 1, 2025, at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral home in Milan. Services will be held at 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Paul United Methodist Cemetery with full military rites provided by Sunman American Legion Post #337. Memorials may be given in honor of Norm to Sunman American Legion Post #337, Margaret Mary Hospice, or St. Paul Methodist Church (UMC).
