Ruble Named Greensburg Rotary Educator of the Year

(Greensburg, IN) – Greensburg High School Special Education teacher Andrew Ruble is the 2025 recipient of the Greensburg Rotary Club’s Educator of the Year Award.

Ruble, who is an assistant football coach on Isaac Sliger’s staff at Greensburg High School, was surprised when walked into the school cafeteria after practice Thursday evening and saw a large gathering.

In addition to his teaching and coaching duties at the high school, Ruble coaches youth football and is active in his church.

Ruble has been with Greensburg Community Schools for 16 years. He started as a classroom assistant before transitioning into teaching full-time.

He recently moved teaching at Greensburg Junior High to the high school.

The Greensburg Rotary Club has presented the Educator of the Year Award since 1988. Shirley Stotts was the first recipient.
