One of the highlights will be the annual Herb Kohler Memorial Parade on Saturday morning.
Lineup begins at 9 a.m., and the parade steps off at 10.
Sixty-five units are registered to participate.
This year’s theme is “Volunteering is Alive in 2025.”
The grand marshals will be Decatur County volunteer fire departments.
The parade will feature special recognitions.
The 2nd annual “Ham It Up” award will be presented to the funniest entry, honoring the legacy of Merrill Smith and his lifelong contributions to the festival and the community.
Smith, who organized the parade for many years, passed away in May 2024 at the age of 71.
In addition, three entries will take home awards for best decorated in celebration of the creativity and effort that make the parade such a visual delight, organizers say.
Spectators are encouraged to line the route early for the best views, then stick around to enjoy the vendors, live music, and family-friendly fun.
