David Kevin Collins, age 61, of Metamora, Indiana died Friday morning, September 12, 2025 at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana.
Born February 25, 1964 in Rushville, Indiana he was the son of the late Kermit & Mary F. (Wilson) Collins. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army 101ST Airborne Division.
He worked for much of his life as a Truck Driver. He spent his free time hunting, fishing, golfing, and playing music.
Survivors include three children, Josh (Brittany) Collins of Batesville, Indiana, Sarah (Craig) Smith of Rushville, Indiana and Zachariah (Cheyenne) Collins of Metamora, Indiana; five grandchildren, Jordan Collins, Payton Collins, Olivia Collins, Landon Collins, Colton Collins; three sisters, Donna Roberts, Carol Roberts, and Joy (Rick) Venter all of Metamora, Indiana, as well as several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Gene Collins, and two brothers-in-law, Tim Roberts and John Roberts Jr..
Family & friends may visit from 4 until 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Trinity Full Gospel Holiness Church, 20015 Haytown Hill Road, Metamora, Indiana.
Andrew Roberts will officiate the Funeral Service at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Trinity Full Gospel Holiness Church.
