(Milan, IN) – Milan Schools will celebrate Homecoming this Friday night (September 12), and the community is invited to join in the festivities.
Students have been taking part in spirit days this week at school.
They’ll continue the celebration Friday evening. The annual Homecoming parade will begin at Milan High School at 5 p.m. and wind its way through town along the traditional route.
Line up begins at 4, and local businesses and organizations are welcome to participate.
The Milan Indians will host the Switzerland County Pacers in a Mid-Indiana Football Conference matchup at 7 p.m. Homecoming Royalty will be crowned will be crowned at halftime.

In addition, Milan Community Dollars for Scholars will host an Alumni Tailgate on the patio beginning at 6:30. All Alumni are welcome to stop by and grab a refreshment, socialize with friends, and enter to win door prizes.
Homecoming week concludes with a semi-formal dance for students on Saturday, September 13 from 8-10 p.m. The cost is $5, and students may purchase tickets during lunch or at the dance.
