(Batesville, IN) – Batesville Fire and Rescue is expressing appreciation to the Rising Sun Regional Foundation for a $30,000 grant used to purchase new extrication equipment from Citizens First Fire Training.
Fire officials say the new gear will significantly enhance their emergency response capabilities and improve service to residents of Batesville and the surrounding area.
“We are grateful for the continued support that allows us to better serve our community,” reads a statement from the department on social media.
