EC Bests OA in First Game on Turf Pitch

East Central broke in its new field turf soccer pitch with a 3-1 win over Oldenburg Academy on Saturday in St. Leon.

The Trojans Lucas Inderhees opened the scoring at 28:11 in the first half on a pass from Nathan Kennemore for a 1-nil halftime lead.

At 32:16 in the second half, EC’s Jackson Engel made a shot from the 18 to put the Trojans up 2-nil.

The Twisters’ lone score came at 9:09 in the second half on a steal and shot by Connor Holder.

OA goalie Ryan Hautman recorded 12 saves.
