(Decatur County, IN) – Get ready to roll up your sleeves for a cause that’s close to the heart — and a friendly competition.
The Decatur County Sheriff’s Office and the Decatur County Health Department will host the first ever Battle of the Badges Blood Drive on Thursday, November 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the health department office at 315 S. Ireland Street in Greensburg.
You can donate blood and cast your vote for the agency you’re supporting – be it sheriff’s deputies or other law enforcement officers, healthcare workers, firefighters, or others on the frontlines of public safety and health.
The agency with the most donor votes will take home a trophy, a plaque, and bragging rights until next year.
“No matter which team you donate in honor of, the real winner is our community. Let’s come together, have some fun, and make a life-saving difference,” organizers said.
