(Dearborn County, IN) – The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office says a person of interest in a death investigation is in custody.
Sheriff Shane McHenry says the death occurred in the southern part of the county early Thursday morning.
Police searched for the person in the area of Hueseman Road and Laughery Creek.
Earlier, an alert was issued, saying the person of interest may have been armed, and residents in the area were urged to lock their doors and report anything suspicious.
The investigation is still going on, and no other details were released as of late Thursday morning.
