The Reds rallied to beat the Chicago Cubs 3-2 at Wrigley Field in a game heard last night on WRBI. TJ Friedl’s RBI single in the 7th inning turned out to be the game-winning run. Reds starter Nick Lodolo left the game in the 2nd with a left index finger blister. Scott Barlow got the win in relief to run his record to 5-0 on the season. Emilio Pagan notched his 24th save. The middle game of the series is tonight. Zach Littell makes his Reds debut and will get the start on the mound. Coverage begins at 7:35 on 103.9 FM.
The Indiana Fever visit the Los Angeles Sparks in WNBA action tonight. Indiana has won five in a row and is 17-12 on the season. Tipoff in LA is at 10 p.m.

We are two days away from the Colts’ first preseason game against the Ravens. The Colts’ depth chart still lists QB1 as “Daniel Jones or Anthony Richardson.” Head coach Shane Steichen indicated after practice on Sunday that he knows who will be starting the game. On the defensive side of things, linebacker Zaire Franklin says he’s been glad to be back on the first this week, after missing all of last week with an injury.
IU head football coach Curt Cignetti says Fall camp is going well so far in Bloomington. He says the team is going through the usual growing pains that you see from a team at this point in the off-season. Cignetti reiterated that the goal is to improve upon the Hoosiers’ 11-and-2 school record season from last year. The Hoosiers will open things up against Old Dominion at the beginning of September.
