Ronald Dale Chandler, 72, of Greensburg, passed away at 1:25 p.m. on Friday, August 1st, 2025, at Franciscan Health. He was born on September 9th, 1952, in Greensburg. The son of Howard Eugene & Betty Jean (Wright) Chandler. Born and raised in Greensburg, Ronald was a member of the class of 1971 at Greensburg Community High School. He was a former resident of Satellite Beach, Florida. He attended Bethel Apostolic Church in Greensburg. Ronald enjoyed cars, fishing, hunting, riding his quad, drawing cartoon characters, and spending time with his family. He married Diane Lynn Hargitt on February 14th, 2021, in Westport, and she survives. Along with his father, Howard Eugene Chandler; his daughters, Jeanie Marie Chandler of Shelbyville and Kandy Spurlock of Greensburg, his sons, Shane Chandler and Ronnie “Happy” Chandler both of Osgood, his stepdaughter, Dana Wilson of Greensburg, his stepsons, Daniel Stuehrenberg and Tyler King both of Greensburg, his sister Barbara Blanford of Greensburg, along with 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Ronald was preceded in death by his mother and his sister, Debbie Wickard. A celebration of life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 8th at Bethel Apostolic Church in Greensburg, with Pastor Todd Smith officiating. Following the service a burial at Rossburg Cemetery will take place. A time of visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th from 9:00 a m. until time of service.
