
(Milroy, IN) – Construction has started on the Hulsbosch family’s new state-of-the-art dairy farm in Rush County.
The farm near Milroy will combine generational dairy experience with innovation and technology to create a create a comfortable and efficient environment for the dairy cows.
It will feature a single free stall/tunnel vent style barn housing 6,500 cows, a 120-cow Carrusel Parlor, and advanced waste management systems.
The family has operated Hulsbosch Dairy Farm in southern Decatur County since 2008.
The facility near Letts employs more than 80 people and has about 6,600 milking cows and a total of 8,000 cows housed on site.
