Pamela Beneker, 71, Brookville

Pamela Louise Beneker, age 71, of Brookville, Indiana, passed peacefully on Thursday night, July 10, 2025, at her residence following a long illness, surrounded by her family.

Born July 8, 1954, in Harrison, Ohio, she, along with her twin sister, Paula, was the third and fourth of eight children born to the late Evelyn Willis. She spent her childhood in Miamitown, Ohio, and was a graduate of Harrison High School.

She met the love of her life, Raymond “Ray” Beneker at a St. Leon Legion dance in 1969. Pam and Ray were united in marriage in 1972 and spent over fifty-two years together. Mr. Beneker survives.

Pam worked at the Internal Revenue Service in Cincinnati, where she retired in 2005. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Klemmes Corner.

After retiring, Pam and Ray enjoyed becoming snowbirds, living in Florida for half of the year. Pam had a strong love of family and was considered a second mother to many. Pam was a fan of karaoke, dancing, and loved spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Besides Ray, her husband of nearly 53 years, survivors include two children; Ray (Angie) Beneker III and Charla (Brian) Pace, both of Brookville, Indiana; six grandchildren, Hailey Beneker, Raymond Beneker IV, Raegan Beneker, Alyssa Hall, Gage Pace, and Brylee Pace; brother, Stan Willis; twin sister, Paula Bischoff; twin sisters, Denise Wickersham and Theresa Matthews; sisters-in-law, Karen Bergin, Carol Beneker, Judy Willis, Jeannie Willis, and Holly Willis; brother-in-law, Randy Beneker; as well as several nieces and nephews; and her dear friend, Daphne.

In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by her brothers, Lendel Willis, Wayne Willis, and Ray Willis; brothers-in-law, Roger Beneker, Royce Beneker, and William Bergin; as well as her sisters-in-law, Sandra Beneker and Bernice Willis.

Family and friends may visit from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.

Ron Maxwell will officiate the Funeral Service at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 4025 Highland Center Road, Brookville. Burial will follow in Creekside Cemetery in Klemmes Corner.

Memorial contributions in Pam’s honor may be made to Creekside Cemetery in Klemmes Corner or the WATCH Center.
