Heat Advisory in Effect Through Wednesday Night

(Southeastern IN) – The Heat Advisory has been extended to Wednesday at 8 p.m.

Heat index values of 100 to 105 are expected each day.

Forecasters say hot temperatures and high humidity can cause heat related illnesses.

You’re urged to drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioned rooms, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Also, it is recommended that you take extra precautions when outside.

Wear lightweight and loose-fitting clothing; try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening, and take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
