Georgia Rosenberger, age 84, of Brookville, Indiana, passed unexpectedly Wednesday night, June 18, 2025, at her residence.
Georgia was born June 23, 1940, in London, Kentucky. She spent most of her life in Franklin County.
On June 4, 1960, Georgia was united in marriage to Ronald Rosenberger. Mr. Rosenberger survives.
Georgia spent thirty-eight years as a factory worker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Brookville. Georgia was a huge IU Basketball fan since the days of Bobby Knight, she also became a big fan of Caitlyn Clark.
Besides her husband of sixty-five years, Ron Rosenberger, Georgia is survived by three daughters, Debbie (Joe) Schadler of Cincinnati, Ohio, Beth Baker of Connersville, and Melissa Alba of Liberty Township, Ohio; six grandchildren, Bailey Brinck, Candace McCann, Dana Lindsey, Dillon Nobbe, Kenzie Alba, Kylie Alba; eight great-grandchildren, Declan McCann, Finleigh McCann, Landon Myers, Kyle Lindsey, Connor Lindsey, Jaxon Nobbe, Lexie Nobbe, Kennedy Nobbe.
Georgia is preceded in death by her parents as well as several siblings.
Family and friends may visit from 12:00 until 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Georgia’s honor may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
