(Ripley County, IN) – The Ripley County Community Foundation (RCCF) welcomed its newest interns this summer, Ingrid Tuveson and Catherine Streator.

The foundation’s internship program seeks to “engage local young people into the work of the Community Foundation in hope that they will become lifelong philanthropists,” according to the foundation’s Executive Director, Amy Streator.

Ingrid is an incoming sophomore majoring in Painting and Interior Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design. With this degree, she hopes to further pursue her passions through a professional outlet.

She chose to intern at RCCF to work within her community and learn valuable skills in marketing for her future career. Ingrid’s artistic talents will be instrumental in advancing the community foundation’s marketing goals. Specifically, she will contribute to the creation of the Annual Report and direct mailers, lead the website redesign, and play a key role in planning the 2025 Chalktoberfest event.

Catherine is an incoming sophomore at Indiana University majoring in Chemistry and Spanish. This is her second summer interning with the foundation, focusing on fund and grant management and executive operations.

Catherine was drawn to this internship with the Foundation because she cares about her community and the quality of life of every community member; and this position allows her to help Ripley County thrive. Catherine’s passion for philanthropy will enhance our organizational capacity, contributing to strategic initiatives and helping us expand our reach and impact within the community.

The Ripley County Community Foundation remains committed to “Connecting People Who Care with Causes that Matter.”
